Gee... something constructive and worthwhile is going on! It's really wonderful to see those clever minds put to very good use, baking an impressive concept here. Now that's so... much... more... better... than an endless debate. My CHEERS to everyone involved! Yes, I agree to it, let's work together not just on pure treasure hunting but creating a treasure wonder for everyone. Great! let's keep it going... This will be our treasure in the making...

TW,
Im currently in Sharm El Shiekh Egypt today and its very hard for me to visit philippines this days due to hectic schedules of my work! Yes Why not to work with you on that "PIRATE THEMED ISLAND",,,This is the form of my business and I have team of expert professional carvers doing artificial rocks, stoneface and all forms of decorative works for theme parks...My team of experts in my company are composed of british, french, south africans and filipino artisans who are doing this work for 25 years now! ive been moving frequently almost half of the globe for this form of business and the quality of my work is actually incomparable...If you dont have design yet on your proposed "THEME" then i can offer myself to do that job and perhaps even more willing to participate on the construction of the work...i can quote for that job and ofcourse a very handsome percentage for the administrator of tseact will be provided....
Among maskara,
It looks like you have had started doing some research now! quite interesting, actually those mentioned on your attachments are already listed on my design proposal,,an underwater restaurant with huge glass barrier, scattered treasures and chest are on the sea floor with sunken broken pirate vessel on the background. the area is also infested with marine life including the fearsome sharks....If you wanted to see some of my work related to this,,check this on net BURJ AL ARAB shark tank, jumeira beach hotel water features, Sun city south africa.....But we maybe have to think about budget here.....

TW, I am still in USA, Hope we can all meet in RP on a given date when all us abroad have the chance for R&R. We'll time this when our ambitious project will come to fruition.

Boss Gener, I have already a design but not as lavish as your projects, we can't afford a Theme Park. Our goal here is a show case of the Yamashita Treasure not a "Pirate Theme" make believe Disney park. This will defeat our purpose about Yamashita Treasure which already became a part of ordinary Filipino struggle. This should not catter only to the "Rich and Famous" but also to ordinary Pinoy's specially to our fellow YTH where they can enjoy and interact with other fellow TH to show case around the world and debunk those who are in denial.
Our goal here is a practical design and financially affordable project.

My Propose Design criteria:
1. Similar to the Fortunes Group design criteria but smaller version according to budget and financial viability.
2. A Yamashita Treasure restaurant, museum and store where gold buyer and seller can legally trade to prevent scamers, there will also be assayers & lab.
3. Family oriented and educational
4. Bar & Resto of truly Filipino cuisine not Chinese, European or Spanish dishes. Foods such as Ilokano, Bicol, Visayan etc. authentic style delicacies and cooking.
5. A big Banquet room for seminars or special occasions and of course for YTH members convention.
6. Stores for TH paraphernalia gadgets/rentals and concessions for souvenir shopping.
7. A Corporate Headquater Office/condo for Gener, TW, TH44 and other board of director + 1, 2 rooms condotel for use (discounted) of overseas investors when vacationing in RP.
8. A sunken vessel and cave/tunnel design depicting treasure hunting.

Bro Angel, CapM and Gboy, maybe you can start drafting our by laws and make a feasibility study. Maybe you can recommend for a Site I say 2 hectare min 4 max.

My Project site recommendation is either Baguio (but doubt if we can get a 2 hectare) and 2nd is Metro Manila.

BTW, can we put up a Business Project Proposal for presentation to investors.

Maskara,

My one cent opinion....since its a Yamashita treasure themed restaurant anyway....you might as well call it...YAMASHITA TREASURE RESTAURANT, para matinde ang impact. It should not only contain filipino foods but Japanese foods also bcoz you should expect Japs visitors bcoz treasure nila yan eh. If the budget is big, thats okey but if the budget is small...put it in a shopping mall first or restaurant, pag successful then put up a large area theme park...and you can add Pirate treasure resto branch as well.
Put dozens of dioramas of Yam treasure sites...buried, cliffwall, waterfalls, tunnel cave, underwater, underneath school/church, etc. So that people will understand how treasure was hidden.....and of course replicas of original gold bars/treasures.

....and most of all...prioritize to get treasure or resto budget first so that it will be DONE.

Gener and MasKara,

I like it! Yes, Gener, maybe we can use you to help us design our Pirate Theme island.. possibly MasKara also. We can probably more seriously discuss about this in January when the funding starts coming in. As far as I'm concerned, you guys are more then welcome to be involved (I'll discuss with my other partners about this cause need their approval but I think its looking very good at this point in time).

TW, there are other TH professional Engineers that we can tap to help us put these ambitious project. All we have to do for now is to get this organized and delegate the work.
Let us know what your partner's think. Then we all get together again to map our next move.

Gboy, you are definitely right we should include a little bit of Japanese and Korean menu to cater their appetite, but I think if they are in our country we must offer only authentic Filipino. they have enough of their food already. Our concept is purely Pinoy. We cannot do it in a strip Mall, We should make it very attractive and Privately Corporate owned by all of us, so we won't be following rules and regulations from other corporate company. We must totally be independent to stand on our own.
If TW's Partners will take care of the Funding then we expect this be a big project,

I know personally the owner of "Saud Beach Resort and Hotel" in Pagudpud Ilocos norte, he is offering me 50 to 100 hectares of his beach resort for development. This is a good site but it is too far North

Anybody can suggest.

TW,
If you dont have any Proposed Prepared Drawings yet on your planned "PIRATE THEME ISLAND" but you have the land, It will be my honor to do sketches or proposed themed designs based on your recommendations...My understanding with your theme anyway has a bar lounge, treasure aquarium, pirate ships but actually a restaurant, spa, sauna, steam rooms + massage & swimming pool (with wave machine perhaps), suites & standard guests rooms,,there maybe some part of it for partying such as play areas with kids pool & slides....You will be surprised for the design i can provide to you and im sure of that....Where is the location anyway? eastcoast or west?.....

Mascara,
Great ideas,,But we have to be carefull with names, i think "yamashita" is a name we cannot be used as some figures may sue us all and i proposed to be in manila area as we have to compete with big restauratures here, most clients are indeed found in manila as international businesses are consentrated here, international standards has to be included in the concept too to cater worldwide tastes. Well food selection has to be enormous such as fish & chips, italian, french or japanese with their own design athmosphere. filipino cuisine shall have seperated and perhaps bigger space as to cater local clients..small theme park using yamashita treasure themed decoration has to be the major scene as to attract the mass to visit the place, perhaps some activity areas has to be included as for kids play area, partying, catering and special programs....We should be inline with big names such as starbucks, hardrock cafe or even wallmart!!! You guys think its not possible? it is! its only the way how you design the LOGO, FACADE & Quality services & management....It is the unique ideas that will make this place totally different......my 2cents.....

I'm really amazed how a simple idea shoots to a very complex project, and I hope this will push through.
Guys, 2012/2014 is past approaching, and based on data about this date, most will crack out and all caves will barr down, thus burying all treasures, if this polarity reversal is true, or sun storm due to gravitational pull of this approaching planet, then we better prioritized about our survival....if we will... ;D ;D ;D

Everything is on our hands now to make it real, so far I can only feel Gener, TW and me is giving a serious thought about it. It's a big challenge and not easy to start but it will be worth it to give a try.
There will be nothing to accomplished until you try, there's no glory if no success.

To sit around and give a thought on what's coming on 2012 is like surrendering yourself to inevitable catastrophe that's not there to come.

The thing is, the project has  became so huge and complex and I felt that it is to big for me to hug. I have a seed money but not that much compared to others...I'm just a small fry...as they say. Still, I wish this project will materialized in the future.
All along, I'll do my own system in enjoying God's given gift. Don't worry bro., I'm not sittting just waiting for 2012, I'm also doing things that are bit important, things about energy conservation. My latest design is the pumpless aquarium which function more efficient than ordinary aquarium but saves 85% of electricity. I will not release this design unless I've completed the patent. I only applied it to aquarium, but my main purpose for this is for RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System).

Bro Gener, I am not suggesting to name it "Yamashita..." it's Gboy's suggestion. My plan is not a "Theme Park" but it's a "Treasure Theme Restaurant", a unique type and not intend to compete with the usual type of Restaurant. I am proposing a true Pinoy culture experience. If you go to other countries Filipinos have no culture to showcase, unlike the Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thailand and all other countries, they have their own unique food to offer. But pinoy is lacking in uniqueness and what you call our own authentic cuisine. There are a handful restaurants in California starting doing these, but still our foods are branded Spanish or Chinese. That's my point when I say to show case our culture not other's for the sake of catering to what is popular. I want to be unique and stand out, do you think a tourist will look for what they usually eat everyday in a Restaurant? From my own experience when I travel I look for what the country can offer. I have to taste their culture. (parang chicks, you wont look for pinay when you are let's say in Europe or China) Ibang putahe naman.

Gener's vision is already exisiting all over the country but smaller version "Theme Parks" affordable to pinoy's. I've done a lot of feasibility studies from inventions, mix commercial malls to senior housing and other's. I think a Disney type Theme Park will have a difficulty of recovering return of investment,  a big theme Park was already on drawing board by a big Chinese Investor to be located along Roxas blvd. Relacmation but lack of investors and financial viability of Pinoy client cannot sustain the project so they build instead Hong Kong Disneyland. Another one was a "Las Vegas Style Casino and hotels" also along Roxas Blvd. The investors are thinking of big Chinese Clients, but also same thing, China decided to just build their own Las Vegas because of return of investment. Philippine business culture is only good for small scale industry. You cannot compare it to HK, Singapore, Dubai or Japan.

My proposal is just modest for middle to upper class and at the same time where Treasure Hunters, Buyers and Sellers can trade without the concern of being scammed or coned. It is a show case for recovered treasures, It's like a Treasure Hunters heaven where they can share their stories and experiences with Families and friends.

This is beginning to sound like a Project study so I have to stop here.. digest what I said and tell me if I am wrong. I can take my proposal to the Fortunes Group instead if they want to branch out in the Philippines.

Bros,
I have seen 2012 printed here a few times. Do you really believe in the Mayan calendar that the world will end in 2012. Only the FATHER knows, not even JESUS know that the end will come in 2012.

You are right T_44. that is why I put a smiling icon in my posting to indicate 'jesting', meaning based on biblical aspects, we are not sure when it will happen. Although there are signs given to us before it will come.

In my little opinion, the bible says explicitly, the day and time will not be know except the Father, but it did not mentioned about the year.

Anyway, let us do our normal daily activity, and let it come.
As for me, as the sayings goes, everything will come to an end wehther we like it or not, with that I'm preparing myself, testing EVERYTHING, EVERY SPIRITS... if I'm on the right tract....it would rather accept to be wrong in most of the time than to be wrong about the future of my soul...Because if man dies, there will be no 'TAKE TWO' just like in the movies....
