In Manila where would be the best legit place to get several grams of gold assayed at!! I am not interested in the central bank!!!!

actually only philtec is mentioned and BSP there is nothing else besides diamonds....so it really didnt help!! And i am looking for more than one place.

Try at Binondo Jewelry shops. If you know any one who can speak Cantonese or Mandarin, bring him along, that is an added assurance. Just a suggestion.

That's correct! I've used their assay services before and McPhar can assay ANY metal there.

McPhar charges per each metal you want them to identify. So if you just want to identify only the GOLD content, then they will charge less fees for that. I think around P2,500 or so and it takes a couple days (Unless you want express assay then that's double the price and takes only one day).
