Is there such a g-bar as Union of Burma??? also, i noticed here the shape is not trapezoidal. he claims this is a 6.2kg bar.. according to him, the item is located 15min. away from General Santos City. the one who emailed me this is a missionary.

The book on Oriental History says Union of Burma was born in January 4, 1948, 3 years after the war. It declared independence from the United Kingdom who had governed them for quite a time... Please draw your own conclusion.

Sometimes, they pretend to be missionaries to would-be buyer to make them more believable. As they say, it is an added icing to the cake.

Correct.

Polomolok is a very dangerous area.  Everyone and everything is corrupt, PNP AFP locals.  If you are not part of them, it is very dangerous to go there.  Unless you are experienced with Mindanao, don't go there.  Plenty of other places to go looking for treasure.  These guys also have a Silver colored van with blacked out windows and a couple of Jeeps.  Often use reflective plastic covers over their license plates that makes it difficult to see and near impossible to photograph.  The van and truck have 'rubber duck' type of antenna mounted or clip on for GPS and UHF radio or cellphone which is also UHF frequency range.  One of them has a laptop computer set up to run GPS and maps to navigate, they use it in their vehicles.

Syndicated mind of almost all pretending buyers in mindanao have common denominator. How can you check a commodity with just the photo if you are not going to check or assay it. buyers are legimate but trustees are not. they want to make more money than the buyer and owner/holder of commodities. I have checked or assayed a Union of Burma Gold bar and it was geniune. It's just that the holder is being terrorized by several groups including local buyers and trustees. I have been escorted by an Intelligence Group who is securing the holder and they are the trustee . If you want to transact, treat is as purely business. No monkey business.

Note: the names of holder and the informations stated in this blog appeared baseless and false. they are not the holder.

Question to ponder:

What are the differences of the genuine gold bars Java, Sumatra, Burma, etc. from each other when it comes to their markings?
