Few years ago that a very popular flooding slapped FLORIDA in the US that creates chaos on its local population,,since then many more countries followed after that! this are the tailpins of the Greatest natural disaster occured in ASIA by TSUNAMI that killed hundred of thousands of people and displaced millions of families. 2009 has seen many disasters occured in many corners of the world...TURKEY was devastated by flooding havent seen in this country before, next is in TAIWAN where many villages were washed out from the eye-sight, then followed by the PHILIPPINES, the country is known to haves typhoon with at least 25 times a year, a natural occurense that happens in this pacific region which is natural to the populace,,,BUT september 25 is different,,,a rain that drops in the country for 6 months splashed for just 6 hours causing a havoc mainly in the city of 12 million and its nearby provinces...A disaster havent seen since 1965 as claimed. Devastation is unpresedented, cars floating with people on the top, people carried on top of debrises in the giant waves slammed on the bridges, millions are on top of the houses crying for help, kids and old folks desperately fighting cold from the continues flow of rain, soaked sea of people wading thru the road of sea of sludge....then follows the hunger and deseases....Rescue efforts were seen vulnerable as the number of people counts, 2 navy rubber boats cannot cope up with hundreds of thousands of least people in dire needs....But this time has seen with few occurence of political distractions as normally intrigued by critics and greed of mankind,,,Instead a hand in hand help from filipinos around the world and local populace, hot meals, old clothings, water and basic goods are popular and always available in any spots, donations and many containers of all survival tools/materials are heading to the ports organised by embassies and many filipino communities abroad,,,a sign that filipinos are ONE during devastation...that we are ready to help our land in great troubles and tragedies.. This time, a help from international community trickled very tight thought few countries donated with a mere few dollars but as a show of gratitude. US pledge $100,000 and JAPAN $75,000, An amount that cannot even cover the needs of least affected people for 3 hours...The magnitude of devastation is unvearable but the flow of help felt from passionate filipinos are much bold and natural, I just joked to my employees that im going to cut 30% of their salaries and to be donated to the destitute in the country and im very surprised and impressed that they never say anything against it and they did it! I guess this time we need to open some of our alleged caves full of gold (if not fool) to help our countrymen in need! this is the time to show real concern and not to leave those shiny metals rotting in caves for useless purposes, a gold which promised to be for the filipinos and not for few greedy impostors! this time is ripe and right to show for real and not leave it as history and myth,.(if there is) if we can do this good show-up for the populace,,,register yourself as aspirant for president and next day,,,ill see you sitting and owning the table of the president of the philippines.....
