Very few of those are REAL. Unfortunately 99% found on Mindanao are now fake but real ones come up from time to time. IF and that is IF they are real and you are near Davao, we will buy them. Fakers have a hard time coming up with the correct paper. One use of the old victory money was to bleach the paper out and then re print the bleached paper stock. BUT pls don't bring us FAKE money. I have a short fuse with fraudsters. There is a greater probability of 10,000 bills out there. 100,000 can only be cleared out via a few Asian banks who will hold them on deposit for declared face value as a dollar asset holding. None of these can ever go back to USA except for the 1,000 bills. We have cut open Wells Fargo safes before. Don't even begin to approach the US Embassy.
I know of one source on Mindanao making what I would call Super quality fake 1,000 peso notes. Banks can't tell. They get their paper direct from Central Bank where the PH people there are selling back door paper. So much for the Aquino government. I don't now why the Central Bank has blank paper in their possession anyway unless various government people are printing their own money.
