Got a situation here: two trees with bearing at 73deg. 150 meters apart...part of the map where the load is was erased. Can you decode it? Million thanks.... Btw there is a hill mentioned with the bearing of 17 deg. From tree1 and 24 deg. From tree 2....

Hello Kaloy,..Try to get the midpoint of that Tree1 and Tree2..That would be 75 meters,..And then from that midpoint,,Try to target 163 deg. Bearing SSE with a 75 meters distance..Just an opinion,,Anyway the map ive shown is just an example..To locate your area it will undergo thorough analysis,.The mountains,rivers,terrains,landmarks which includes Old Trees and Big Rocks
will be your basis..Good luck...

Based on your experiences, if a tree is loaded (drawn in the map for example), was it beneath or beside the tree? If it is beside a tree what is the usual bearing and distance of the target from the tree?

I assume that 75 meters and 163 deg from the midpoint of the two trees would fall in the slope. Uphill direction from tree 1. Not a steep slope. It has a soft elevation ( low inclination angle). This slope runs at SSW uphill direction.

If a Tree is Loaded,..Target (1),..Under,Target (2),,1 Meter North,,Target(3),,11 meters East and..Target (4)..3.5 meters or 7.5 meters 121 degree..Just an opinion..

The two small dots,,represents the small deeper targets on the shoreline..

Deeper than the target on the left?  (Box/diamond-shaped figure)... What is the rationale behind why the artist drawn it in dot-form and the other targets in box-form? I think it is not just because it is a small target..... I also noticed black shades, i assumed they are shallow targets, arent they? What about the square grids?.stock pile of loads?.. Im asking these basic questions since an original map might have different interpretation. Sometimes the reason why there are unsuccesful diggings despite of having an original map is because of the wrong interpretations we had in mind.
