A young couple discovers a treasure in his cellar in Alsace

A recently discovered owner of his home in the Bas-Rhin, a couple discovered about 3,000 pieces of gold and silver, while he was working at the cellar.

It is a real treasure discovered by a young couple residing in Soultz-les-Bains, in the Bas-Rhin, reports this Monday Le Dauphiné .

Last week, a couple undertook work in the cellar, of his new house built in 1580 between the two streets of the Church and the Presbytery.

While the owner was digging the beaten earth of this cellar, he discovered an amphora containing thousands of pieces, and then immediately called his wife.

A treasure that belongs to them in full

In total, this covenant includes 2,968 pieces of silver and 17 gold, dated from 1473 to 1610. Some pieces very rare for some, struck in Seville by King Philip II or issued in Egypt, relates Le Dauphiné .

Good news for this young couple: the booty returns to him in its totality, insofar as it is at the same time discoverer and owner of the ground at the time of the facts. Now, the state services have five years to exploit historically and scientifically the find. Afterwards, a purchase proposal can be made.

Wow...Priceless
There are no ancient secrets to decoding the past, there is only great research and applied logic.
