5.0 magnitude earthquake hits some parts of Luzon

November 10th, 2010

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake shook some parts of Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon 6:30 pm Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) confirmed.

Renato Solidum said the quake epicenter was traced 20 kilometers southwest of Iba, Zambales.

He added that its depth was recorded at 12 kilometers.

In its website, Phivolcs said an earthquake also took place around 4:35 pm, with the epicenter 44 kilometers of Iba, Zambales.
:) : Everyone is a genius at least once a year. The real geniuses simply have their bright ideas closer together..:)
