Have you ever heard of diverted creeks. I have seen gold panners or miners dig big holes and divert the creek to that hole to fill it with water and wait for it to become clear, then they will dive in to pick the gold from the wall of the dig with sunlight helping them locate the gold with its radiance. the sizes like that of a mongo bean or the head of a match stick. Well as long as you are positive of the site your venture might have meaning. there are already codes posted here regarding deposits in creek areas. but your deep research in your area is important to continue work or not.
