Concentration camps

Hi all, my first question is if there is any rhyme or reason as to how far from a Japanese concentration camp a dig might be? Did they load POW's up and truck them for long ways, or were they marched around on foot? Thanks

Good question. I would think it would be either in it or very near to it.
