raquel_lyks,

thanks for the advice of chemical, its almost the same as what we did with the rock, but it did not break as depht as what it is shown in the youtube. if you have known  that makes the stone powder much the better.

janner,

you are right in your assumption that lot of money spend here but we agree with the group weither there is no load or not we will break the stone.

goldfish,

I try to open it up with my group if they are interested in dynamite, in the first place non of us know how to use it. There is already a hole in the around the rock approximately 42 holes and 18" deep. thanks...

The best way to break up rock without using explosive materials is by
drilling small boreholes into the rock and pouring an expansive
chemical agent into the holes. These chemicals are called "soundless
chemical demolition agents" or "non-explosive demolition agents." The
process can be done on a small scale with a boulder, or on a large
scale with a massive rock formation. It is controllable by the user,
who decides where to drill the boreholes in order to achieve the
desired effect.

"Soundless chemical demolition agents (SCDAs) have proven to be viable
substitutes for the use of explosives. SCDAs are powdery materials
that will expand considerably when mixed with water. This expansion,
when occurring under confinement, generates significant expansive
pressures. These pressures are sufficient to break up rock and
concrete when the SCDA is confined in a borehole or a series of
boreholes... The SCDA must be mixed with a measured quantity of water
and poured into the boreholes. It will then begin to hydrate,
generating heat and crystallizing while hardening and expanding. If
hydration takes place under confinement, significant expansive
pressure will result. The pressures can be of sufficient magnitude
that, after a period of time, they will fracture the confining
material. Depending on the type of SCDA, significant expansive
pressure may be generated as quickly as within 15 min., or as long as
within 24 hr."

Below you'll find links to information on three expansive cracking
agents that should meet your needs:

"BRISTAR is a soundless and safe demolition agent which is quite
different from ordinary demolition agents such as explosives and
dangerous materials. It does not cause any fly rock, noise, ground
vibration, gas, dust or any other environmental pollution when used
properly...

When BRISTAR is mixed with an appropriate quantity of water and poured
into cylindrical holes drilled in rock or concrete, it hardens and
expands. BRISTAR cracks the matter to be demolished which then can be
easily removed with a pick breaker, pneumatic breaker, excavator,
etc...

Since demolition by using BRISTAR is based on a fracture due to a
tensile stress, all kinds of rocks and concrete can be cracked and
broken by using BRISTAR when appropriate holes are properly drilled."

Demolition Technologies: Bristar Non-Explosive Demolition Agent
http://www.demolitiontechnologies.com/

"It starts with the typical demolition process of drilling holes in
rock or concrete, but instead of explosives, FRACT.AGŪ is mixed and
poured into the holes and it expands with a force of over 18,000 psi
overcoming the tensile strength of the rock or concrete.

FRACT.AGŪ expansive mortar:

- Is versatile, it can be used in hole diameters from 1 1/8 " to 3"
which can be keyed to jobsite conditions, depending on the drilling
equipment available and the method of excavation

- Makes mass rock and concrete removal an easier task

- Substantially reduces removal time, saving time and money.

- The Fracturing created by FRACT.AGŪ increases productivity of equipment

- Works in underwater situations.

- Can be used in deep holes when appropriate.

- Is environmentally friendly"

jso 1819,

If chemical and dynamite could not make it. Why not use sharp chisel and hammer with lots of patience.

 just an opinion  ;)

thanks benvalmores,for the great info.

Our operation  has stop last feb.12,2011, we will proceed as long as we will find the right chemical to use in our operation.

I will suggest to use this chemical you are referring to...

I have talk to the digger from another group of treasure hunter,
that they use a 1 liter of liquid chemical mix with 1 liter of water and scattered the chemical into the rock, put a mud on the side of the rock not to spill the chemical, because it is underground, they are afraid of poison or soffocation, they return after 3 days and get down to the hole, the rock turn into a soil and they shovel it, the deep of the soil is about 1 meter, thats the effect of the chemical they use, but he himself did not know what is the name of the chemical, it came from there boss BEn who is operating now in Mindanao.

this chemical cost approximately 60,000 pesos, they said that you cannot buy this chemical on the market, or without an official ID, it is restricted and it is for military arsenal or government use only.

Wow, so did you found any interesting object inside or just a chunk of rocks and mud soil? better use dynatime as Godfish recommend controlled blasting. I have asked a professional drilling and blasting mining engineer recently working in an established mining company with 20years experience in mining underground. He said that is the last resort when plan a & b failed, he called it "silent blasting" using dynamite. he further stressed that you will not even recognize of hear the blast when there is disco music playing with subwoofer. Without music, you will hear just a single vibration in the ground during blasting. Its like blowing up a "kwitis fire cracker" submerge in water pond or river, hear the blast and that's it. Advantage is when your rock to be blown out is underground a couple of feet will do. When i ask him about the procedure he will not disclose since it's confidential and need professional training and experience. Needless to say, he will just do it when i'll hire him when my other option in opening cvault fail. anyway, he tried it before and worked out.
